In 2009, LDF launched Count on Change 2010, a national education campaign to ensure that African-Americans were fairly counted in the 2010 Census. Focusing on Black communities that faced the greatest risk of omission from the census, Count on Change 2010 sought to increase the final Census response rate by ten percent, resulting in additional state and federal funding for traditionally undercounted African-American communities. This campaign was launched in partnership with the NAACP,the National Urban League and National Coalition on Black Civic Participation
