Each year, LDF is fortunate to receive the support of dozens of companies and thousands of their employees through workplace giving campaigns. Funding from workplace giving campaigns support LDF’s litigation, policy advocacy, community organizing, and public education efforts. LDF uses these tools to bring about permanent, structural change in each of our four programmatic areas: political participation, education equity, criminal justice, and economic justice.
Thank you for your interest in creating a company-led Workplace Giving Campaign that includes LDF. We’ve made the process of setting up an LDF workplace giving campaign easy by creating a customized toolkit with ready-made materials that you and your employees can use. Your company can launch a workplace giving campaign anytime throughout the year, such as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in January, Black History Month in February, and Juneteenth in June. For end of year campaigns, Giving Tuesday which falls on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is a time to join in this global day for generosity.

The information shared during a workplace giving campaign provides employees with educational resources and expanded knowledge about pressing civil rights issues, their historical context, and solutions/calls to action.
Workplace giving campaigns make it easy for a large number of employees to participate in supporting LDF and, with a corporate matching program, the impact of employee gifts is exponentially increased.
Employees who participate in workplace giving programs can feel more positive about themselves and the work they do, as well as feel more connected to the company’s core values, which can boost morale.
