Kacey Mordecai is Senior Counsel at Legal Defense Fund. Prior to joining LDF, Kacey was an Assistant Professor at Howard University School of Law. She started her career as a Staff Attorney at Juvenile Law Center, a public interest law firm for children and litigated before the Inter-American and African regional human rights systems as a Senior Staff Attorney at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. Kacey earned her J.D. from Georgetown Law, where she taught the 2019-20 Human Rights Fact-Finding Project as an Adjunct Professor, and her B.A. from the University of Chicago.
