
Arielle serves as Assistant Counsel and Manager of Professional Development at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Since joining LDF in 2021, Arielle has litigated across all four pillars. She has led litigation to desegregate public schools in Alabama and to address the chronic underfunding of Baltimore City public schools. Arielle has also worked on voting rights cases, challenges to unfair water billing, and efforts to curb qualified immunity.
Prior to joining LDF, Arielle was a Staff Attorney at the Center for Reproductive Rights. Arielle’s litigation work included cases challenging various abortion restrictions across the United States, such as targeted regulations of abortion providers. Prior to joining the Center, Arielle was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Denny Chin on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Arielle received her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.A. in International Relations, with honors, from Stanford University.
