Marne Lenox

Assistant Counsel

Marne Lenox joins LDF as Assistant Counsel. She previously served as a Criminal Defense Practice Staff Attorney at the Bronx Defenders, representing thousands of indigent clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies in Bronx Criminal and Supreme Court. Marne received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar. While in law school, Marne participated in the Children's Rights Clinic and the Juvenile Defender Clinic, and served as the Director of the Suspension Representation Project.  She also served as a Notes Editor for the NYU Law Review, which published her student Note, Neutralizing the Gendered Collateral Consequences of the War on Drugs. Marne received her undergraduate degree from Brown University, where she concentrated in both Public Policy and Africana Studies.  She is a member of the New York State Bar.
