Sherrilyn Ifill Selected Among Top Leaders of Color and Women Leaders Among Legal Services, including Private, Public and & Governmental Sectors

LDF announced that Sherrilyn Ifill has been recognized by the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP) as one of 15 CUP Catalysts: Change Agents 2013 | Law . The list highlights and celebrates the accomplishments of diverse leaders across the legal sector who have achieved extraordinary success in business and have made a significant impact on their community. These individuals were recognized at CUP’s 4th Annual Lawyers Forum on October 29th.

The CUP Catalysts: Change Agents 2013 Law list includes 15 professionals from the legal industry, between the ages of 35-50, who serve at senior levels of firms, organizations, agencies and institutions, and who have been nominated by their colleagues and peers.

“These are the diverse, dynamic and dedicated lawyers and partners who are transforming business, changing lives, and giving back to their communities through board service, mentorship, and philanthropy,” said CUP Executive Director Chloe Drew. “We are committed to recognizing diverse professionals from across the legal industry and congratulate the leaders who were nominated and selected.”

The list of Catalysts in Law follow on CUP’s announcement of CUP Catalysts: Change Agents 2013 | Finance, announced on October 1st at CUP’s 6th Annual Wall Street Partners Forum. Executives and entrepreneurs selected for CUP Catalysts: Change Agents 2013 | Media & Entertainment will be recognized at CUP’s 5th Annual Media & Entertainment Forum on November 12, 2013.
