LDF President and Director-Counsel Sherrilyn Ifill appears on Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer to discuss civil rights, policing and the 50th Anniversary of the march from Selma to Montgomery which resulted in the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Ms. Ifill joined reporters Kim Strassel from the Washington Post, Jan Crawford from CBS, Peter Baker from the NY Times and Jeffrey Goldberg from the Atlantic.
“When we see these protests happening today about police violence against unarmed African Americans it’s going to make this country better,” said Ifill.
