LDF Associate Director-Counsel Janai Nelson appeared on The 11th Hour with Brian Williams to discuss the fatal police-involved shooting of Keith Lamont Scott in Charlotte, North Carolina. His death set off a wave of protests demanding more transparency, accountability for officers who engage in criminal acts, and an end to police violence. She was joined once again by Marc Claxton, Director of the Black Law Enforcement Alliance and retired NYPD detective.
