LDF President and Director-Counsel Sherrilyn Ifill gave a powerful talk on the Main Stage at the 2017 MAKERS Conference, touching upon topics including diversity, voter suppression, the spate of the police-involved death of unarmed African Americans caught on camera, and LDF’s 76 year history of fighting for equal justice for all. This year, MAKERS brought together hundreds of trailblazing leaders, inviting everyone to #BEBOLD, elevate the conversation and raise challenges and solutions through action-oriented sessions.
