Today, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. (LDF) sent a letter to Attorney General Barr, Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Sullivan, and Office of Community Oriented Policing Services Director Phil Keith to submit written comments on the responsibilities of the working groups of the Presidential Commission
on Law Enforcement and the Administration of Justice (the “Commission”). The comments highlight concerns about the tasks of three working groups – Respect for Law Enforcement, Grant Programs, and Data and Reporting – and offer guidance on how to address these concerns.
