FALDEF is a national organization that provides pro bono legal services to members of the Filipino American community who are suffering legal injustices by reason of their immigrant origins and status and unable to engage legal aid and assistance on account of poverty.
FALDEF is dedicated to providing a forum for education, advocacy and scholarships aimed at educating and advancing the interests of the Filipino American community on issues and matters pertinent to immigrant and civil rights.
LDF is very aware of all the fantastic work FALDEF does on behalf othe Filipino community in America. We also share similar values: FALDEF believes in justice, reliability, integrity, and service to others. FALDEF’s goal is to achieve the realization of the full potential of the Filipino American community as an integral part of the immigrant community in the United States through impact litigation, education and advocacy. We’re also very proud to call one of our own, Lito Pernia, a founding Board member of FALDEF.
Again, we are hugely appreciative and humbled by this gracious award. Thank you, FALDEF!
