LDF Associate Director-Counsel Janai Nelson appeared on The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss the tragic police-involved killings of Alton Sterling of Baton Rouge, La. and Philando Castile in Falcon Heights, Mn. Their deaths set off another wave of protests across the country demanding an end to police brutality and accountability for officers who break the law. She was joined by Marq Claxton; Director of the Black Law Enforcement Alliance and retired NYPD detective.
