The NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund (LDF) has joined 154 other organizations in calling on Congress to pay tribute to Representative John Lewis (D-GA) by passing the HEROES Act and the Voting Rights Advancement Act (VRAA). Enacting these legislative measures would protect the integrity of the November election and counter the disenfranchisement that communities of color face.
