A coalition of state and national civil and voting rights organizations are demanding Mississippi Secretary of State, Michael Watson, to follow Mississippi law, and the Secretary of State’s own published elections calendar, concerning the deadlines for voters to return their mail-in absentee ballots and to cure certain affidavit ballots and rejected absentee ballots in the recent runoff elections held of November 26, 2024.
