Georgina Yeomans

Georgina Yeomans joined LDF as Assistant Counsel in 2021.

Prior to joining LDF, Georgina was an associate at the labor law firm Bredhoff & Kaiser PLLC, where she represented labor unions and their members in litigation and administrative proceedings, focusing her practice on representing public-sector labor unions in litigation stemming from the Supreme Court’s decision in Janus v. AFSCME Council 31, 138 S. Ct. 2448 (2018). Georgina also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cornelia T.L. Pillard on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and the Honorable Susan L. Carney on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Georgina spent two years as a paralegal in the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, during which time she was awarded the Assistant Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award.

Georgina received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent and Harlan Fiske Stone scholar and Notes Editor on the Columbia Law Review. She also received the Samuel I. Rosenman Prize and the Paul R. Hays Prize from Columbia Law School. She received her B.A. with honors from Wesleyan University.
