Assistant Counsel of the Economic Justice Practice
Ría Tabacco Mar joined LDF as Assistant Counsel in the Economic Justice Group in December 2011. Prior to joining LDF, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Victor Marrero, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and to the Honorable Julia Smith Gibbons, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Ms. Tabacco Mar also worked as a litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
Ms. Tabacco Mar received her J.D. cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern public interest scholar and an editor of the Law Review. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in Social Studies.
