Deuel Ross joined LDF as a Fried Frank Fellow working with both the Political Participation and Education practice groups. Deuel completed two years at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP working on complex commercial and civil rights litigation. Deuel also previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Roger L. Gregory on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and as a Marvin M. Karpatkin Fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union’s Racial Justice Program, where he litigated a variety of civil rights matters across the country.
Deuel received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was an Executive Editor for the Journal of Law and Social Change and studied business and public policy at the Wharton School. He graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in English and Political Science
