This lecture honors the memory of James M. Nabrit, Jr, who was considered one of the leading constitutional and civil rights lawyer of his generation. He was Dean of Howard University School of Law, Howard University’s second Black president, and represented the United States as a deputy ambassador to the United Nations. This annual lecture is sponsored by K & L Gates LLP and is always a very special event at Howard Law.
