On Wednesday November 4th, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. (LDF) honored Ursula M. Burns, Chief Executive Officer of the Xerox Corporation and Jamie Dimon, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of JP Morgan Chase, recipients of LDF’s National Equal Justice Award at the 23rd Annual National Equal Justice Award Dinner.
Vernon E. Jordan, Jr. a longtime member of LDF’s Board of Directors, was the recipient of the Thurgood Marshall Lifetime Achievement Award. ABC’s Deborah Roberts was the evening’s Master of Ceremonies. The dinner was a great success for LDF, bringing in nearly $2.4 million dollars.
